What you make with the tools: free for commercial use

Everything you produce with the tools on this site (“your output”) is yours to use for any purpose, including commercial use, royalty-free and worldwide: calculation results and their printouts, gauge charts, quotes and cost estimates, and the SVG, DXF and PNG files from the box generator, gear generator and photo engraving tool. You may use them in client work and quotes, put them in your own documents, cut or engrave them, and sell the parts and products you make from them. No attribution or credit is required.

Two limits: material by third parties that is listed on the credits page keeps its own licence, including any credit it asks for; and you may not copy, resell, mirror or repackage the site itself, its code, its calculators or its design as a competing tool or service, or use automated tools to copy the site in bulk or to overload it.

Engineering results are estimates

The calculators use published formulas and standard dimensional data, and every result shows how it was worked out. They are for estimation and planning: verify critical designs against the applicable standard, your material supplier’s data and your own test pieces before you cut, bend, quote or build anything that matters. Nothing on this site is a certified calculation or a statement of compliance with any code or standard.

No warranty

We test the tools against independently calculated results, but mistakes can happen; check anything important before you rely on it. The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Content and licences

The site’s design, text and code are © LaserCuttingSupply. Third-party material is listed with its licence on the credits page, and that licence applies to it.

Advertising and third-party services

The site may show advertising and may use visit statistics. These are described in the privacy policy. We are not responsible for the content of other websites we link to.
